Indeed. There's good reason that the house my dreams take place in is most often some combo of the one I grew up in and my grandmother's. It's prima, as I always say. Unless we move relatively soon, Sadie's primal place will be this apartment and this building.
ReplyDeleteWhich is what my old landlord understood instinctively when we were soon to move and he said of Sadie, with wistful sadness, "she won't even remember this place."
That would be "primaL" dammit.
