Ideas? Anyone? Bueller?

I just found out that the theme for this year's annual town Christmas Parade is "Christmas Movies Are Coming To Town." Emily's troop always takes part in this parade and on a couple of occasions, has won the award for best float etc.

As her leader, I am partially responsible for coming up with a great idea for the girls to do this year. We have a HUGE ramp truck at our disposal (my co-leader's husband works for an autobody shop) and 25 gilrs (assuming all participate) to dress the part. We do have some money to spend on costumes/truck decorating (some but not a ton).

So, I am passing the baton to you, my esteemed readers. Anyone out there have an ideas?

The theme again is, "Christmas Movies Are Coming To Town."

Have at it.

  1. Grinch
    Die Hard (just kidding)
    A Christmas Carol
    Miracle on 34th Street
    It's Wonderful Lice

Probably many more, but they can always dress up as people of Whoville. As opposed to Hooverville, about which I'd be more tent-ative, even if it had anything to do with Christmas.

  2. What if you could make the sides of the truck into the cells of a peice of film. In each cell you could reinact a scene from a christmas movie. The first cell could have a snowman (frosty) and the kids putting the hat on him. Ect.
That might be harder then you can do but it would sure look neat.
