Would You Ever/Would You Rather/If
Would you ever...
...skydive? No freakin' way. I don't even like flying in a plane, never mind jumping from one.
...consider becoming a criminal? If it was necessary to protect my children, yes.
...donate a kidney or other vital organ? Absolutely without question.
...go skinny dipping? Been there, done that.
...eat a live bug for money? It would have to be some serious cash flow and by serious I mean like billions of dollars.
Would you rather...
...have xray vision or bionic hearing? Bionic hearing. I have pretty good hearing any way, but bionic hearing would be cool.
...always have to say whatever is on your mind or never speak again? I could really go either way on this one...both options sound appealing but if forced to choose? Probably never speak again.
...live without music or live without tv? TV. I would probably *die* without music.
...spend the day surfing the internet or the ocean? The internet. Dude, there are sharks in the ocean.
...not able to use your phone or your email? Phone. Hardly use the damn thing anyway.
...go to an amusement park or a family reunion? Family reunion.
If...
...you could suddenly possess an extraordinary talent in one of the arts, which would it be? I love to be able to sing well.
....you were to complete the phrase, "A life without love..." how would you finish it? ..."is not a life at all."
...you decided today to do some serious soul searching, what is the first question you would ask yourself? Oooohhh...there are so many but first, "What is your true calling/purpose in this life?"
...you could pick one household chore that you would never have to do again which would you pick? Laundry...without question.
...you could pump enormous amounts of money in to one area of scientific research which would you pick? Probably stem cell research.

All About Me...Because I Know You Were All Dying To Know
I am a red headed, Irish woman with a stubborn streak. Really that one sentence could probably do just fine on it's own, but for the sake of longevity, I'll expand.
Most of the time, I am a pretty reserved and laid back kind of person. It takes quite a lot, and usually all at once to get me upset. I can also maintain an outward calm with ease, even if the insides are in a frenzy. This helps me in many ways, not the least of which is my ability to present things in a calm and reasonable manner. I find calm and reasonable usually gets ones point across more efficiently than obnoxious and irrational.
I have just about the worst luck in the world and generally speaking, when things can go the wrong way or the right way, they go wrong. It's been this way all of my life. Sadly, I have gotten used to this fate, and, while I still always hope for the best, I don't usually expect it. My easy going, "let it slide off of your back" attitude comes in to play quite nicely in these situations.
I am pretty much of the belief that if you want something, you have to make it happen. Sitting back and waiting for it just doesn't work. This doesn't by any stretch mean that I will always work for it, whatever it may be. By nature, I am a rather unmotivated type of person. The way I figure it if I want it bad enough, I will make it happen. If not, than I will suffer the consequences. It seems fairly simple to me.
Having said that, I am the biggest procrastinator on the planet. I almost always wait until the last minute. This generally isn't a bad thing...I seem to do my best work under pressure. My motto: If it weren't for the last minute, nothing would ever get done. Clearly, procrastination is the key to my success.
I am a peace-keeper and will pretty much do anything to ensure peace. I can almost always see things from all points of few and that skill usually allows me to keep things peaceful and smooth. I am a Libra through and through.
Because I have to weigh every detail before I make a decision, doing so does not come easy for me. While some decisions are pretty clear cut, most for me are not. Even after making one, I sometimes question whether or not I chose correctly. Again, I am a Libra through and through.
I have what I would consider to be a phenomenal sense of responsibility. This hasn't always been the case but as I've gotten older, and in turn my responsibilities greater, my sense obligation and duty have grown stronger. I have what I guess could be considered high moral standards, but, I don't expect any one else other than myself to uphold them.
I am a big believer in freedom of pretty much everything, as long as you don't try to enforce your ways on me or hurt my family in anyway. Personal choice is a big thing for me. I think everyone deserves the right to form their own opinions, views and judgments.
I think that about sums it up. This is not to say, of course that I won't take another one of those silly quizzes, because y'all know I will.

Just Because
Your Thinking is Abstract and Random |
You are flexible, adaptable, and creative. There's many ways that you can learn - and you're up for any of them. You relate well to other people, and you do well working in groups. You can help people communicate together and work with each other's strengths. You don't work well with people who are competitive or adversarial. You prefer to work toward a common goal... not toward conflicting goals. |
You Are Checkers |
You are very logical and rational. You are able to understand what is and isn't a factor. You're able to compartmentalize and focus on the essentials. You appreciate simplicity. You can see the layers of complexity and beauty in anything. You are also playful and good natured. You don't take life too seriously! |
You Would Be Voted Most Shy |
You're not exactly known for being a social butterfly. At school, you were content to be an observer. And while you are shy, going to school simply made you shyer. Your friends don't probably think of you as shy. You're happy to talk around the right people! |

Quiz...Take 2
You Are a Ferris Wheel |
Deep down, you are a fun, whimsical, and easygoing person. You often enjoy life for what it is, and the littlest changes in course can be quite thrilling. In relationships, people tend to feel what you feel. It can be liberating at first... But after a while, the people closest to you end up feeling a little trapped. Your life has perfectly normal cycles of ups and downs. However, you can't help but sometimes feel that you're missing out on the most exciting aspects of life. You only are happy when you're experiencing the highest of highs. Your low points just make you feel depressed, restless, and bored. At your best, you feel on top of the world with a great sense of perspective. You believe that anything is possible, and that you are happily looking down on everyone else. At your worst, you feel like your life is going in circles. You often feel like you're not going anywhere. This is sometimes psychologically disorienting. And sometimes it brings on a sense of hopelessness. |
Quiz

Caring and giving, you enjoy making people happy. You're often cooking for friends or buying them gifts. All in all, you know how to love life for what it is - not for how it should be. |

I found this humorous...
Your brain: 120% interpersonal, 140% visual, 140% verbal, and 0% mathematical!
Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.

0 % mathematical?!?! I could have told you that! It makes me kind of nervous though when it comes to the future of helping kids with algebra and geometry, not to mention the math classes I will have to take if I go back to school at some point! Yuck!
