Today

Julia had PT at Health South this morning. Obviously, I brought Emily and Katherine with me and the behaved fabulously in the waiting room. I bought them each a new package of crayons and a coloring book, as well as markers and a sketch book to bring with us so that they would have something to do, and apparently, that was a good idea on my part. They sat at the little table and colored the hour away.

Julia did very well today too! They have a small set of stairs that you can flip over and it looks like a boat, (kind of hard to explain). The boat rocks and the idea is to get Julia to walk over it, while maintaining her balance. Deb said she did very well, with Deb's hand just under her elbow to guide her(or catch her if she did fall). She also had fun on the gym mats, walking all over them (even the uneven ones, stepping up and down over).I have a sneaking suspicion that we won't be seeing much more of Deb which is sad because we really love her, but good, because obviously it means progress on Julia's part.

After we left PT, I took the kids to the library to register them for the "What's Buzzin' At The Library" Summer Reading Program. They were very excited about registering (even Katherine has caught the reading bug!) and it will be fun for them. Basically, we will be keeping a reading log at home and after a certain amount of hours they will get a prize. There are various shows throughout the summer that we will go see and at the end of August there will be a party and prizes awarded.

I took them to McD's for lunch which was a special treat for them as we haven't done something like that in quite some time. Julia is in for a nap and Emily and Katherine are chillin' in the livingroom.

Me? I am going to organize my desk, fill out the camp forms and print out a calendar.

FUN!
