The Brockton Rox Rock!

Last night, Emily, Katherine, Ryun and I went to see the Brockton Rox. The Middleboro PTA sponsored the event as a fundraiser and apparently it was very successful because so many tickets were purchased that they had to offer a second game on Sunday.

We were lucky last night. There was a brief shower about 1/2 hour before the game started but the rain held off for the rest of the night, including during the post game fireworks show.

I was a great night. The kids were a little over tired after having a really late night with Annie on Wednesday and staying up for the DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie) on Thursday, so they were a little out of sorts. Overall though, they weren't too bad though. It was a fairly inexpensive night ($20.00 for all four of us to go and just what we spent on the concessions) and so worth it because of the family type atmosphere and "fun" the Rox staff provide. In between each inning they have some sort of fun, interactive audience type game. They give out prizes and have the team mascot (K O) going throughout the stands to take pictures with the fans.

Speaking of pictures...

And, just to show you why I am so jealous of my kids' hair...

Thick brown hair, with natural blonde and red highlights and curls?

Need I say more?
