Emily and Katherine got their report cards yesterday. They both did very well!
Emily basically stayed the same in everything (mostly 3's which means better than average progress and 4's which means excellent progress). The only things she got a 2 in (which means average progress so it's not like a 2 is "bad" thing) were some of the Math categories (applies problem solving strategies, and subtraction).
Katherine's report card was most impressive. She went up in 11 areas including, Math and some of the various math categories, Science, and many of her "Successful Social Behaviors" such as works well independently, follows directions,organizes and uses materials appropriately and practices self control.
They got their teacher assignments for next year and they seem pleased. I have not ever heard anything about Emily's teacher but Katherine's is reported to be very good, so we'll see.
I can't believe Katherine is going to be in first grade next year and is moving up to the big school.
