Awhile back, she had her blood drawn to check her Lamictal level. We got the results yesterday and her level was so low, the doctor actually asked me if she was still taking it. Yikes. It is supposed to be between 12-30 and it was 1.75, or something like that.
So...this means we will be adding a pill to her morning dose meaning she will take three in the morning and three at night. She hasn't had any seizures, even with the low level but, I guess for it to be therapeutic, her level needs to go up, or the possibility of a seizure occurring would go up. The possibility of course, is always there no matter what her medicine level is because seizures? Yeah, they're annoying like that.
