It's only a seasonal thing right? I am looking for it because Emily has to make a model of a plant cell and an animal cell and in the photograph we have the Cytoplasm looks just like ribbon candy. I have called two local candy shops, one that just opened in Middleboro and one fairly new one in Plympton but neither sell it. This is the one time that I wish Christmas stuff came out even earlier than usual because maybe then I could find it.
Any thoughts on what else we could use that would look like ribbon candy? I was thinking playdough but we already have that planned for another part of the project and part of the grade is "variety of materials used."
Fruit Stripe gum?
