And, signing the sign she made up for "mess." I think she came up with the hand wiping her face in imitation of us cleaning her up after a meal with a face cloth.
That's so funny. Why did you teach her sign language? Was it for fun or does she need it? Just curious...it's been a while so I don't know these things... :)
She didn't "need it" in the sense that she couldn't hear, but, she did have a slight speech delay so it was to ease her frustration. She is 17 months old, and is basically where she should be in regard to speech, but still signs the few things that we taught her.
She looks so professorial in these pictures. Almost like "duh, here's how they're done, yes I'm smart, now go away so I can resume my usual unassuming appearance."
